Neshannock had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Union Area Scotties by a score of 48-41. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Scotties are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Neshannock's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Union Area, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

Looking ahead, Neshannock will head out on the road to square off against West Allegheny at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Union Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
