Football Game Preview: Bristol Warriors vs. Garden Spot Spartans

The Bristol Warriors will face off against the Garden Spot Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bristol will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Friday, Bristol took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-6 win over Academy of the New Church. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Garden Spot gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They walked away with a 17-10 victory over Conrad Weiser.

Bristol better keep an eye on Gabe Martin. He was instrumental in Garden Spot's win, rushing for 131 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 110 yards and one TD. Martin showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.

Garden Spot's run defense was locked in: Conrad Weiser could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The Spartans' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.35 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.17 on average over their last five games.

Garden Spot's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Bristol, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
