Bells has gone 8-2 against Blue Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Bells is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Bells' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Non Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 9-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Blue Ridge narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Leonard 5-3. Blue Ridge hasn't had any issues with Leonard recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Paige Elder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Blue Ridge got a big performance out of Isabelle Tallant, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyara Davis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Bells' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Bells beat Blue Ridge 8-4 when the teams last played back in March. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
