Mt. Blue took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Camden Hills, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Windjammers on Thursday, sneaking past 7-5. Seven seems to be a good number for the Cougars as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Mt. Blue is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Camden Hills, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mt. Blue is set to challenge their familiar foe Skowhegan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Camden Hills will face off against rival Bangor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
