Soccer Recap: Monmouth-Roseville Takes a Loss

Monmouth-Roseville managed to keep up with Mediapolis until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Titans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Monmouth-Roseville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 278th in Illinois, while Mediapolis are ranked 118th in Iowa).

Monmouth-Roseville now has a losing record of 5-6-3. As for Mediapolis, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-1.

Looking ahead, Monmouth-Roseville will be playing at home against Manual at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mediapolis, they will face off against Fort Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
