Gowanda not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 17-8). They put the hurt on the North Collins Eagles with a sharp 12-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Corrina John, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addison Kota, who went 3-for-5 with three runs.

Gowanda's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for North Collins, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Gowanda will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Maple Grove at 4:30 p.m. As for North Collins, they will head out to challenge Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
