Bay City Western strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Dow Chargers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

Brayden Simmon and Mikey Deluca did most of the damage at the plate: Simmon went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Deluca got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one double. Simmon also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jimmey Sequin, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bay City Western kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Bay City Western's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Dow, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
