Baseball Recap: Box Elder Comes Up Short

Box Elder and Woods Cross squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Box Elder had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Wildcats. The Bees have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Box Elder saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Wight, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Woods Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Box Elder nor Woods Cross have any future games scheduled.
