Streetsboro had won five straight games and Naomi Benson did her part to make it six on Saturday. The Streetsboro Rockets walked away with a 38-30 victory over the Canfield Cardinals thanks in part to Benson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Ava Bodovetz, who posted six points and five boards. What's more, she also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024.

Streetsboro pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points over those games. As for Canfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Streetsboro will square off against Norton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Streetsboro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season. Canfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
