Basketball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Fivay Falcons and fell 64-31. The Cobras have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Fivay was led to victory by Dominick Walsh and Odell Brown. Walsh almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 assists, while Brown dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Brown has posted since back in December of 2023. Joell Morales was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Fivay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Hudson will take on Crystal River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fivay, they will head out to square off against Sunlake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fivay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.1 points per game this season.
