Basketball Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short

Fall River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 65-43 to the Mt. Shasta Bears. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.

Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Mt. Shasta, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Fall River and Trinity will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Shasta, they will square off against Modoc at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Shasta will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
