Soccer Game Preview: Leon vs. Florida State University High School

The Leon Lions will head out to face off against the Florida State University High School Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Leon's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Leon came up short against Maclay on Wednesday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Marauders are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, Florida State University High School's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Eastside.

Florida State University High School's record is now 8-2-3. As for Leon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1.
