Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Palmer

With a playoff win on the line, Palmer rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 64-56 win over the New Site Royals. The victory was familiar territory for the Dragons, who have now won four games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palmer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalean Tweedy, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine boards. Tweedy's evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Caston, who posted 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for New Site, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

As of now, neither Palmer nor New Site have any future games scheduled.
