Baseball Recap: Sunapee Takes a Loss

Sunapee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-8 back in April.

Sunapee's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

Looking ahead, Sunapee will face off against Holy Family Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they will take on Pittsfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
