Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy had taken University School of Jackson down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Bruins, falling 3-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 1, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Trinity Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-21.

Mallory Arnold paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Arnold got some help from Edie Allen and her 23 assists. Brianna Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for University School of Jackson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
