Softball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss

High Point Central came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-1 to the Southern Guilford Storm. The Bison have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

High Point Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Southern Guilford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

High Point Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-8 win against Trinity on the 26th. As for Southern Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Rockingham County on the 28th.
