Football Game Preview: Beverly Panthers vs. Masconomet Regional Chieftains

Beverly hasn't had much luck against Masconomet Regional recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Chieftains at 6:30 p.m.

Beverly came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Marblehead, falling 35-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since October 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, Masconomet Regional took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 43-7 win over Danvers. The game marked the Chieftains' most dominant victory of the season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Masconomet Regional, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Beverly might still be hurting after the 28-7 defeat they got from Masconomet Regional in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
