Tabiona triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Chance Lazenby

Recap: Tabiona Tigers vs. Duchesne Eagles
After losing to the Duchesne Eagles the last time they met, the Tabiona Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Tabiona snuck past Duchesne with a 53-48 victory on Wednesday.
Chance Lazenby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Gavin Rhoades, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Tabiona's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Duchesne, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabiona will be home for the holidays to greet American Prep WV at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (American Prep WV is ranked 49th, while Tabiona is ranked 44th). Duchesne will be home for the holidays to greet South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Sevier is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
