Flag Football Recap: Mt. Eden Takes a Loss

Mt. Eden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Castro Valley Trojans, falling 31-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Monarchs have suffered since October 28, 2024.

Mt. Eden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Castro Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Coming up, Mt. Eden will square off against Berkeley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Monarchs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Castro Valley, they will take on Foothill at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Trojans 7, the Falcons 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
