Baseball Game Preview: Laurel Bulldogs vs. Caesar Rodney Riders

Laurel is 0-8 against Caesar Rodney since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Riders at 4:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Laurel is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Polytech.

Caesar Rodney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Lorentz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Jadrian Sanchez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Caesar Rodney, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
