Basketball Recap: Lake Oconee Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Towns County

There's no place like home for Lake Oconee Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 38-31 win over the Towns County Indians on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-35 back in December of 2024.

Lake Oconee Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Towns County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Lake Oconee Academy has already played their next contest (against Prince Avenue Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Towns County will challenge Highlands at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
