Basketball Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat. They lost 53-28 to the Plano East Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 784th, while the Panthers are ranked 82nd).

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 2-26. As for Plano East, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 20-11.

McKinney has already played their next game, a 58-36 defeat against Rock Hill on the 4th. As for Plano East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-55 loss against Allen on the 4th.
