Basketball Game Preview: West Cabarrus Wolverines vs. Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls

West Cabarrus hasn't had much luck against Hickory Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The West Cabarrus Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, West Cabarrus ended up a good deal behind Mooresville and lost 72-54. The Wolverines were down 53-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge strolled past Cox Mill with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 65-48. The win continues a trend for the Ragin' Bulls in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

West Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Hickory Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

West Cabarrus might still be hurting after the 71-46 defeat they got from Hickory Ridge in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can West Cabarrus avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
