DeMatha piles up the points against Frederick A. Douglass

The DeMatha Stags had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Frederick A. Douglass, posting a 69-22 win on the road.

DeMatha got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kade Sebastian out in front who scored 13 points along with 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Malcolm Thomas, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

DeMatha's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Frederick A. Douglass, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

DeMatha will head out on the road to face off against Eleanor Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Frederick A. Douglass, they will be playing at home against New Orleans Charter Science & Math at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
