Softball Game Preview: Lyndon Tigers vs. Mission Valley Vikings

Lyndon is 1-9 against Mission Valley since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Lyndon will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Mission Valley at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lyndon came up short against Osage City on Thursday, falling 15-5.

Kylie Dorr was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Weece, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Mission Valley's offense. They lost 11-0 to Tonganoxie on Monday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lyndon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mission Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
