Softball Game Preview: Frankfort Panthers vs. Danville Christian Academy Warriors

The Frankfort Panthers will take on the Danville Christian Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Danville Christian Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Frankfort, who comes in off a win.

Frankfort is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Burgin 21-9 on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Sadie Dungan was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kendall Cook, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.

Frankfort was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Danville Christian Academy played against Paris on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Frankfort's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Danville Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
