Jesuit entered their tilt with West Jefferson on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Jefferson Buccaneers a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Blue Jays, who have now won six games by four goals or more so far this season.

Jesuit's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for West Jefferson, they moved to 7-5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Jesuit take on the Chalmette at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chalmette knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Jesuit likes a good challenge.
