While Freedom put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Colonial. The Freedom Patriots came out on top against the Colonial Grenadiers by a score of 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Grenadiers: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Blake Echols, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Colonial off the board.

Freedom's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Colonial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freedom will venture away from home to challenge Windermere at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Windermere: 2.5, Freedom: 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Colonial, they will challenge Lake Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
