Center Point-Urbana is 9-1 against Independence since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Independence Mustangs. Center Point-Urbana will be strutting in after a victory while Independence will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, everything went Center Point-Urbana's way against Vinton-Shellsburg as Center Point-Urbana made off with a 53-32 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stormin' Pointers.

Meanwhile, Independence scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clear Creek-Amana. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

The victory got Center Point-Urbana back to even at 2-2. As for Independence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Center Point-Urbana was able to grind out a solid win over Independence in their previous meeting back in February, winning 55-46. Does Center Point-Urbana have another victory up their sleeve, or will Independence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
