Volleyball Recap: Westmont Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Westmont's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Newark Memorial Cougars 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since March 15th.

Westmont is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Newark Memorial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Westmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Burlingame on the 12th. As for Newark Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against El Camino on the 12th.
