Anna-Jonesboro entered their tilt with Cobden on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Appleknockers. The matchup marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season.

Anna-Jonesboro easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21.

Jayci Needling paced Anna-Jonesboro's offense, picking up seven kills. Needling got some help from Mackenzie Barnhart and her ten assists. Brooke Sheffer and Kansas Craig kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Anna-Jonesboro picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-17. As for Cobden, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
