Palm Desert waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 68-42 margin over the Shadow Hills Knights. The Aztecs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Palm Desert's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake Brande led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Brande has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jecorey Jones, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 19 points.

Palm Desert is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Shadow Hills, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-11.
