Holly Hill Academy has not had much luck with Clarendon Hall recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Holly Hill Academy saw an underclassman step up: Essie Wolpert scored 11 points. Wolpert is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Holly Hill Academy dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Clarendon Hall, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Holly Hill Academy will head out on the road to take on Jefferson Davis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Jefferson Davis Academy is ranked 269th, while Holly Hill Academy is ranked 278th). As for Clarendon Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calhoun Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
