Holston is 9-1 against Northwood since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Northwood took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Holston, who comes in off a win.

Holston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Honaker on Thursday. Considering the Cavaliers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Northwood's offense. They came up short against Rural Retreat on Thursday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Holston, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Holston took their win against Northwood when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
