Volleyball Recap: Cony Takes a Loss

If Cony was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Nokomis on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Brewer Witches on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Witches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Brewer can attribute much of their success to Molly Lagasse, who had ten digs.

Cony's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Brewer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Cony will host Hampden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brewer, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ellsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
