Soccer Recap: Boaz Comes Up Short

Boaz lost against Crossville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2.

Boaz's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9-4. As for Crossville, they moved to 8-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boaz will host Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crossville, they will face off against Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crossville will be up against Moody's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.76 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
