Basketball Recap: Jordyn Thomas and Jamiah Lewis Secure Win for Ridgeland + How To Watch

Ridgeland lost to Gordon Lee back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 61-48. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Leading Ridgeland to victory were Jamiah Lewis and Jordyn Thomas. Lewis went 11-for-21 to rack up 27 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, while Thomas posted 15 points and six steals. Lewis' big performance that afternoon made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Sha Elliott, who scored 11 points.

Ridgeland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Gordon Lee, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Ridgeland has already played their next game, a 49-23 win against Chattanooga Christian on the 26th. As for Gordon Lee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-33 defeat against Northwest Whitfield on the 25th.
