Calistoga had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Credo on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Gryphon 25-7. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Calistoga, bringing their record up to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Credo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Calistoga has already played their next contest, a 20-0 defeat against Tomales on the 6th. As for Credo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-34 loss against Point Arena on the 6th.
