Volleyball Recap: Bryan Bears vs. Omaha Central Eagles
Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Omaha Central Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 23-25, 25-13.
Omaha Central found their leader in sophomore Presley Vacek, who had 17 digs and five aces. With that strong performance, Vacek is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.
Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Omaha Central, their win ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-15.
Bryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Omaha Central, they will face off against Benson at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
