Steven Saenz Game Report: vs Vaughn

Port of Los Angeles had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Steven Saenz sure wasn't going down easily. Saenz made a splash, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Vaughn back in February of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Saenz and Port of Los Angeles will head out to square off against Locke at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Polar Bears got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Saints thanks in part to Saenz: he went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
