Quarterback J.T. Waters leads state of South Carolina in rushing yardage.

Waters, a quarterback for Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.), ran 29 times for 462 yards and seven touchdowns in a 64-34 victory. His 1,979 yards rushing on the season lead the state, according to the MaxPreps leaderboards.
Meanwhile Elijah Marks of Desert Edge (Goodyear, Ariz.) set a state record for receiving yardage in a season with 1,802 yards after catching 12 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-16 win over Agua Fria.
In Florida, Tucker Israel of Lake Nona closed in on 10,000 career yards with a 526-yard effort in a 56-7 win over Harmony. Israel, a junior, has thrown for 9,760 yards in his career.
