Baseball Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Creston Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 8-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Glenwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Creston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Glenwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 defeat against Algona on the 7th. As for Creston, they will head out on the road to take on Denison-Schleswig at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
