Volleyball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Brookwood

Brookwood had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fall Creek Crickets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since August 28th.

Their offense was headlined by Calista Zimmerman and Reagan Muehlenkamp, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Katelyn Lee and her 31 assists. Finally, Ellie Thieman and Kinsley Holmquist kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Brookwood's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Fall Creek, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-7 record.

Brookwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Neillsville on the 13th. As for Fall Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Melrose-Mindoro on the 13th.
