Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Forest Academy). They put the hurt on the Silliman Institute Wildcats with a sharp 18-1 win on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Tyler Mulkey looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Logan Freche, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Kaul Perkins was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Oak Forest Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
