Volleyball Game Preview: Bellarmine Prep Lions vs. Mount Tahoma T-Birds + How To Watch

Bellarmine Prep is a perfect 3-0 against Mount Tahoma since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. Mount Tahoma took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bellarmine Prep, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Bellarmine Prep turned things around against Silas on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Rams 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since November 15, 2024.

Bellarmine Prep was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 27-29, 25-23, 17-15.

Bellarmine Prep can attribute much of their success to Stella English, who had 20 digs and two assists, and Mina Smith, who had 22 assists and nine digs. Those nine digs gave Smith a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma lost 3-0 to Gig Harbor on Wednesday. The T-Birds have struggled against the Tides recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mount Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Bellarmine Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
