Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Hoover Patriots
Roosevelt and Hoover pushed the score to 14-6 the last time they played Hoover, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Rough Riders fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-6 loss on Wednesday.
Roosevelt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leonardo Gonzales-Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
