Recap: Becker Bulldogs vs. Zimmerman Thunder
There's no place like home for the Becker Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 92-62 victory over Zimmerman. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Becker got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mitchell Soltau out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Brown, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Becker's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10. As for Zimmerman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becker will take on Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Becker's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 matches. As for Zimmerman, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Foley at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Zimmerman's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
