Softball Recap: North Edgecombe's Win Ends 16-Game Losing Streak on the Road

North Edgecombe took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Rocky Mount Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Jaguars 13-12 on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Jaguars on their field since March 31, 2015.

North Edgecombe's win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. As for Rocky Mount Prep, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.
