Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addie Prisciandaro and Bella Abt Lead Prescott to Victory

There's no place like home for Prescott, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They secured a 47-41 W over the Mingus Marauders on Tuesday. The Badgers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Marauders, too.

Prescott was led to victory by Bella Abt and Addie Prisciandaro. Abt dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards, while Prisciandaro posted 14 points and five assists. Rayne Libis was another key player, putting up four points.

Prescott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Mingus saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Savannah Tobias dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Tobias is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 46 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Brianka Villalobos, who earned eight points.

Prescott is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Mingus, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-4 record.

Prescott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-14 win against Mohave on the 24th. As for Mingus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-29 victory against Coconino on the 23rd.
