Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Comes Up Short

Hidden Valley lost against William Byrd last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans lost 13-7 to the Terriers.

RILEY EADES made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was CARLIE PLUNKETT, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hidden Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for William Byrd, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hidden Valley will challenge Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for William Byrd, they will be playing at home against Lord Botetourt at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
